Everyone deServes to Learn
Getting a pedi sounds nice :) Would love to know what Public School Week is... I've never heard of that :) I found you through Farley's link up.
ReplyDeleteDuring Public School Week (at my school), we have specific day when parents are invited (encouraged) to come and sit to observe their child's classes. Of course it is the week right before Spring Break...
DeleteI took my sister to get a mani/pedi over winter break and we had so much fun! So nice to have a relaxing girls day!

The Second Grade Superkids
Hi Sandy. I also teach 5th grade here in Texas and I wanted to know what are some of the main things you use to prepare for STAAR. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI teach 4th in Texas. We are using Motivation Math, Reading & Writing this year to prepare for STAAR. Hope this helps!

Thanks Teachntex! We use those as well for Reading and Math. Love those. Just wanted to see if there was anything additional.
DeleteWe use Study Island, but I have also bought several Green Apple books that have interesting passages along with STAAR aligned questions.
DeleteI am hoping to do small groups rotations the last two weeks before the test (after Spring Break) and will definitely be sharing my ideas.

Hello! I found you via Farley's link up. I teach 5th grade language arts and social studies in Texas as well! Like the above posters, I would love to know more about preparing for STAAR. This is my first year teaching and I am a little overwhelmed!
ReplyDeleteHmm. Still learning this blogger thing. Hopefully this comment will link to my blog. :)
